Welcome to RecoverED, a counselling/therapy practice specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating. Our goal is to empower our clients to live a life free from disordered eating and to support them on their journey towards recovery.
At our clinic, we believe in using evidence-based methods to treat eating disorders, including Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Family-Based Treatment. By tailoring our approach to each individual client, we are able to provide personalized care that addresses the unique challenges you are facing.
We work with a range of eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, otherwise specified feeding or eating disorder, and anything on the spectrum of disordered eating. Maria McGrath, MSW RSW - Founder & Therapist
Maria is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Social Worker with a Masters in Clinical Social Work. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and firmly believes in using a client-centered approach, meeting clients where they are at in their recovery journey.
Maria is committed to using evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E) and Family-Based Treatment (FBT), to help her clients achieve lasting recovery and healing. She believes that anyone struggling with an eating disorder, disordered eating, or a challenging relationship with food deserves professional help and support.
With Maria's expertise and empathetic approach, clients can feel safe and empowered to confront their struggles and work towards a healthier relationship with food and their bodies. She is dedicated to advocating for the well-being and recovery of all individuals facing eating disorders and is passionate about making a positive impact on their lives.
Mallory Isaac, LCT-C - Therapist
Mallory Isaac, LCT-C, CCC, is a Licensed Counselling Therapist-Candidate with the New Brunswick College of Counselling Therapists. She is also a stagiaire en thérapie conjugale et familiale in Quebec. Mallory holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mount Allison University.
Mallory is provides support for individuals struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns. She has training in Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E), a leading evidence-based treatment for eating disorders, and integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with other research-based practices to support sustainable change. Mallory helps clients build a healthier relationship with food, improve body image, and develop practical coping strategies.
In addition to her work in eating disorder treatment, Mallory offers general counselling for anxiety, depression and self-esteem challenges. Her diverse clinical experience includes working with individuals, families, youth, and seniors in both community and clinical settings, including Child and Family Services.
Mallory’s approach is collaborative, warm, and client-centered. She is passionate about helping individuals feel understood, supported, and empowered as they move toward healing and lasting well-being.
